LSD is the long-awaited and emotionally charged final studio album from legendary English band Cardiacs, completed posthumously after the death of frontman Tim Smith in 2020. Originally recorded between 2007–2008 and resumed from 2021–2024, the album is a sprawling, genre-defying masterpiece that blends punk chaos, prog complexity, and surreal pop into a sonic universe only Cardiacs could create.

The album’s release marks the end of a decades-long journey, interrupted by Tim Smith’s tragic health decline. With contributions from Jim Smith, Kavus Torabi, and other longtime collaborators, LSD stands as both a tribute and a final artistic statement.
